Dubai-based entrepreneur, investor and business leader — from hospitality and business tourism to building companies from the ground up across technical services, real estate and investments.
Born in Toronto in 1987 and based in Dubai, Abdulrahim Najeeb Yousuf Baker — known professionally as Abdulrahim Baker, or simply AB — built his professional foundation in hospitality and tourism at the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management and Middlesex University, specializing in International Tourism Management and Marketing.
From 2010 he served in marketing and communications at the Dubai Convention Bureau — Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing — contributing to international congress bids (including three ITU congresses won for Dubai in 2012), destination marketing, trade shows and international media site inspections.
Building on that experience, he established his own ventures — ABNB Technical Services L.L.C., MABNA Real Estate L.L.C. and Albarwa Investments — while holding shareholding interests in Dutco Group of Companies and Emirates Aviation Services, continuing a family heritage of entrepreneurship in Dubai's business community.
